The Hills Plaza office complex needed to keep starlings, pigeons and gulls off the rooftop and parapet walls. The pest birds were roosting under the protected underhang all along the rooftop.

In zone 1, the rooftop, Nation Wide Bird Control installers stretched bird net across the entire roof expanse.

Once installed, the polyethylene bird netting was very difficult to see and the entire rooftop, including the overhangs, was protected from pest birds.

To protect zone 2, the parapet walls, electrical bird wire called BirdFence was installed. Several rows of the bird fence were run along the parapet top to provide an electrical bird barrier to dissuade birds from perching on the parapets to overlook the walkways and streets below or use as sun loafing spots.
